are you using a static home page? or the default setup? looks like a static(which I missed before)

open up your page.php and you can comment out line 10, note this will remove it on all pages, if you want it just for the homepage you'll either need to create a custom page template or use the is_home statement

i went to the index.php file and removed line 15. but it made no difference.

i know it's a strange request. unfortunately my client wants the word "home" removed. couldn't talk her out of it.

any other suggestions how i can go about it?

where/how did you edit the file?

also changing it to while will change it on more than on 1 page

can i perhaps add a code that changes the color to white? that way it's not visible?

i tried that, but it made no difference. I also tried removing line 14 & 16. But that didn't work. any other suggestions?

how can I eliminate the page indicator "home" on the home page?
i do want the other pages to show the indicator. just the word "home"
