Hi there,

I can confirm the update I made will display the images in the order that you upload them (unless random is active or slideshow is turned off).

With the images reordering, it sounds like you may need to delete them from your media library all together and reupload in the order you want them to appear (i.e. first image uploaded first, last image uploaded last).

Let me know if removing them from your media library completely helps with controlling the image order.

Yes, i selected an image and clicked save/publish. The odd thing is that when I upload the images in the order I want them to display, i save it, then close out. When I got back to customize -> header images they are in a different order...so strange! I can give you my login details if you need to try and reproduce?

Sorry one last thing, what's weird is that I re-upload the header images in the order I want them to be, but when close out of customize and go back to it, the images are uploaded in a different order again too.

Hey there Christopher, I'm still noticing that the slideshow for the header images is randomized and not appearing in the order they are uploaded. I tried clearing my cache as well but still seeing the same random order :(

Submitted an update that will display images in the order they were uploaded. You should get an email notification when it's available (if you have those settings turned on).

Hi there,

VYSUAL is using the native WordPress header image feature and turns it into a slideshow system. WordPress doesn't have a native slideshow feature for the header images, which is why they don't have any kind of drag-and-drop functionality or obvious image ordering control.

I'm noticing this issue as well. I'm actively looking into this as I'm working on a new theme that uses the same header image feature.

Hello, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to order the slideshow for the homepage.

I am currently in theme-> customize -> header image. I tried uploading in the order I'd like the images to appear and make sure randomize is not clicked, but the images don't show up in the order they are uploaded. For some reason the last one keeps showing up as 2nd. Is there another way to order the images for the slideshow? And what is current header image vs previously uploaded?
