Hi there,

Navigate to the Customization page (appearance > customize) and you'll see a "general" section. In there is the "Events Category" option.

Be sure to review the options available to you in the other areas of the Customize page as well.

Also, I can't find the calendar settings. Where is that?

Hi

When I go to edit the 'Courses' category, the parent category is selected as 'Events'. There is no 'Main Events' category. Should there be?

The problem is still that the courses listed, under Courses in the menu are showing in descending date order rather than ascending date order. The events are showing in the correct order in the Events category.

Hi there,

Yes, you'll want to select a main category for your calendar. All "filters" will be child categories of this main category.

Hi Christopher

Do I go to Customize, General, Events category? There is no Main Event Category there, should there be?

I remember seeing Main Event somewhere when I first started trying to customize the site but not sure where it is now.

Be sure the "Courses" category has the main event category* assigned as the parent category.

Hope you're well.

I have created a category in the menu called Courses.

Under this category I have a series of posts but they are appearing in the wrong order - so october courses are at the top and june is at the bottom.

In my other category - events - these are appearing the right way so, soonest coming first and then getting further and further away as it goes down.

Please could you tell me how to change the order of the posts in Courses?
