Hi there,

I'm not aware of what changes you're referring to. If you made changes to the actual theme template files, then yes, the new theme will not have those. You'll need to make notes or copy/paste your edits into the new theme files.

If you're referring to changes you made in the WordPress dashboard, the only thing that will not be saved is your theme options (OptionTree options) you have. Again, just make a note of them and reapply them after updating.

Thanks Chris. If I upgrade to the newest version will it affect the changes I've made to the site?

There's a newer version of the theme that has OptionTree built into the theme. Please be sure you're using the latest version, which is available on your downloads page.

I'm updating a site built from the Polico theme in 2011 and having trouble activating some of the Option Tree themes. For example I'm trying to turn on the countdown I check the "on" box, change the dates and hit save then nothing happens. The screen just reverts back to the last saved version. Any idea about what's going on?
