I just installed the dailypress theme with the optiontree plugin, I do not have any fancy widgets or other plugins, just imported the example xml data, and all the themeoptions don't work. If I adjust things and I click Save all changes (in the theme options). Then it resets everything.
This means I cannot add anything to the homepage, which is still blank.
Any suggestions for what could go wrong?

sdjayhawk, it wasn't the calendar for me, but your suggestion to look for conflicting widgets was spot on. For me it was an online petition widget causing the conflict. Problem manifested itself with a missing option tree left navigation and inability to save updates. Deactivating the petition widget temporarily, did the trick. Thanks for the lead!

Hi,

Just purchased your Politico Theme. I uploaded the theme as instructed and then added and activated the "OptionTree" plugin, which I have used successfully in the past with other themes. However it will not work with this theme. When I activate OptionTree it immediately goes to the " Edit logo and banner page and not the upload XML page allowing me to upload the theme files. I've been at this for over an an hours now. I tried deactivating and deleting the plugin and then reinstalling it, however I keep getting the same issue again and again. Please help!

Kind Regards,
Anthony

Thanks for the reply Justin. Through some trial and error I found out that my calendar widget was holding the Option Tree plugin up. Just had to deactivate it to make the necessary changes and then reactivate.

Can you post a link to your site? Also, have you uploaded the XML file?

The fact that you get to it through Appearance is not an issue, I do the same thing!
