Found the problem. It appears from a post in the OptionTree forum on WP.org that the All-In-One Event Calendar plugin causes a conflict. Once I deactivated it options were saved.

It definitely is not a hosting issue. One day I could adjust the speed of the home slider, the next day I couldn't. I change the value, hit save all changes and it returns to the previous value. It's not just the slider, I tried all the other options and nothing sticks.

Hey There,

This sounds like you may have some hosting problems. It would not be directly related to how Aid and Option Tree function together. Hundreds of people use the two on this Theme everyday...

Have you tried contacting your hosting provider?

Specifically, though I've created a sponsors category, a featured post with a featured image,and the category shows up on the "Footer Carousel" drop-down, but Option Tree "save all changes" doesn't retain my changes. I've tried other changes and it doesn't save those either. I tried clearing my cache and starting over, with no luck. I've disabled all my plugins to make sure there was no conflicts, no change. Thanks for you help
