The gallery layout is achieved through the use of page templates, which only apply to pages (not posts). This is how WordPress has determined things to work, so adding this functionality is not a quick edit.

I wonder if it would be possible to open a news post by clicking on the title or previewpicture as a full picture (without the black hiding the picture) ? Now you must always click on the i-Button to hide that.
