My android phones resolution is 1280px x 720px and it looks good (not perfect ;). Better than the standard scrolling fluid layout :)

Some other modifications are also required besides the media queries e.g. remove height and width attributes in images. ;)

For a quick customization for android devices, just using the styles in iphone.css and add the styles to your own css3 media queries in the style.css or custom css. It is a quick and simple solution :)
