In order for the gallery to auto-detect images to display in the gallery, the images need to be uploaded to that specific post.

Ahh...that makes sense. I load images into a blog-category post as a gallery....like 8 or nine on a shoot or topic. Then I make *another* post in a project-category so I have a portfolio of, say, nature images...just as a portfolio...and use the category to define the portfolio. Since I don't want to fill up a database with duplicate images, I just use the 'featured image' option with the new post and select an image from the 'media library' tab. This doesn't work. Perhaps a feature request?

Thanks...other than that, I'm LOVING the theme for my site: http://www.highway30.org

-Jeff

Make sure the image was uploaded from that post edit page. The system looks for images associated with the post you're viewing.

Is it possible to have just one image (not a gallery of images) in a single post? When I use the Featured Image option, it works in the portfolio/blog view, but when I click read more, it doesn't show the image...

Thanks,
Jeff
