I haven't used a logo. I just tried assigning one, checked the map, removed the logo and checked again - same thing.

Make sure you have the welcome page properly assigned on the Customize page. If that doesn't help, try changing to a different page and see if that makes a difference.

Hi Chris,

Several weeks ago, my welcome page stopped appearing on the home screen. I changed index.php as you described above using the page id of my welcome page - same result. I downloaded a backup of index.php from several months ago when I know the welcome page was working, compared it to the current index.php, and they are identical except for the one change I made. Can you give me any hints about where else I should look?

Hi there,

Have you made any customizations to the template files? If so, you might need to double-check your edits.

If that doesn't help, maybe try using a non-translated version of the theme to make sure your translation isn't the issue.

One other thing you could do is to manually assign the page id. Simply open index.php and change the following on line 2 from this...

$id = get_option('themolitor_welcome_page');

...to this...

$id = 2;

The page you're trying to assign has a page id of "2", sot that's why the 2 is being used.

I set all the settings according to the instructions you give, but still does not appear on the home page, the page I want (above the map). Any page not appear above the map.
Appears only if the state as a Static Page, without the map (only with a background).
