Make sure you include the "#" infront of the hex code.

Also, make sure you're entering the width of your logo in the field below. This is what makes the logo centered.

Well, I'm back. (I moved so I got very sidetracked). Anyway, I simply cannot change the color of the header bkg. I put a hex code in where it asks in Theme Settings - but nothing.
This is the color I'd like to try - E89E54 But all I get is a black hole - and my logo is off to the left, not in the center. Wah!

You need to add widgets on the "widgets" page.

You can change the color on the "theme settings" page.

I wondered if 3.0 didn't upload all of the files - since it only let me upload a zipped folder and when I looked in my files, some were missing. The folders - PSD, scripts and images. So I uploaded those and unpacked them, but still it's not right.

Again, it very well could be my personal challenges - I'm still learning.

Did you try adding widgets and changing the color on the theme settings page? Can you provide a link to the site?

I'm a newbie and installed Chameleon on WP 3.0. I think I did it wrong because I don't see the widget drag panel - Also, I can't change the color of the banner (mine's all black...) Help...
