A user just mentioned that the Yoast SEO plugin adds additional text to the title of pages. Maybe check the settings of that plugin to see if you can adjust titles there.

Hi there,

I was only curious about a caching plugin as the possible cause of the issue you're having. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then that means it's not the cause ;-)

There isn't anything theme-based that would prevent changes you make going into effect. That's usually always something to do with either your browser history and/or your WordPress install not saving your settings properly.

Currently your home page message says "Quality video at a full range of prices." Is it suppose to say something else?

Regarding the category title, you can control that from the category page (appearance > categories).

Hi Chris,

Should I use a caching plugin ? I don't know what that is? Also I have been trying for hours how to leave the HOME page heading in the menu but change how it reads in the centre for example - http://www.paulbudline.com/site/category/projects/ Wondering if you could tell me how to do this?

Hi there,

Are you sure you're editing the proper text for the page you're viewing? Are you using a caching plugin?

Remember, the welcome message only appears if you have "latest posts" selected as the home page and not a static page.
