Hi there,

I would actually argue that a remote image would cause longer loading times. That said, the slider image was always controlled by the built-in WordPress featured image tool. So whatever functionality it provides is what's available.

Hi,
with the new version of Wordpress is not more possible to use a remote image (offsite url) as a slider image. This would be useful to speed-up the site ?

How to resolve this ?
