does WordPress have access to your .htaccess file? its generating the proper url but looks like its not interpreting the content. also how many posts do you have? do you haven any plugins installed?(other than theme related ones)

try resetting your permalinks in the WordPress admin, Settings -> Permalinks , just check another option and save you can reset it to the current option afterwards

I'm getting a "NOT FOUND" error message when I click the "Older entries" link below the homepage category blog entries. Does the homepage category have specific parameters it has to follow? for this to work? The site can be find here http://aplambdas.fiu.edu/
