Hi there,

Yes, unfortunately PrettyPhoto doesn't have any responsive aspects to it. I try not to customize scripts like that because it makes updating tricky, but they might add better responsive support in the future (fingers crossed).

Best,

Chris

Thanks Chris,
That works better for me. Before, the image was quite small, and now the image is easier to see.
I was hoping the expand function of an image would be responsive to the screen, but this solution is much better than before.
Cheers,
Joe

Hi there,

I see what you mean. Try adding this to your Custom CSS box...

@media screen and (max-width:1020px) {
/* prettyPhoto styling for small screens */
.pp_pic_holder.pp_default { width: 100%!important; left: 0!important; overflow: hidden; }
div.pp_default .pp_content_container .pp_left { padding-left: 0!important; }
div.pp_default .pp_content_container .pp_right { padding-right: 0!important; }
.pp_content { width: 100%!important; height: auto!important; }
.pp_fade { width: 100%!important; height: 100%!important; }
a.pp_expand, a.pp_contract, .pp_hoverContainer, .pp_gallery, .pp_top, .pp_bottom { display: none!important; }
#pp_full_res img { width: 100%!important; height: auto!important; }
.pp_details { width: 94%!important; padding-left: 3%; padding-right: 4%; padding-top: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px; background-color: #fff; margin-top: -2px!important; }
a.pp_close { right: 10px!important; top: 10px!important; }
}

Let me know if that works better for you.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris,
I was wondering how images on a mobile device be responsive? When I increase an image from the gallery, it's not scaled to fit the screen of the mobile device. Instead, the image becomes too large for the screen. Here is a link to one post, and perhaps you can see for yourself what the issue is.

http://josephahorro.com/2014/05/engagement/

Any help to find a remedy would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Joe

You bet! :-)

If you're enjoying the theme, PLEASE don't forget to rate it on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Positive ratings REALLY help me out.

Thanks!

Hi there,

I see what you mean. Open header.php and add the following on line 9...

<meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1.0,width=device-width" />

Let me know if that helps.

Below are links to screenshots from my iphone 5 showing a site with proper mobile appearance, then a link showing mine. As you can see, the map is not a mobile version and is preventing the "zooming in" to the mobile size. Everything else is centered and narrow, such as the menu, logo, etc.
