ok here is whats happend...

I always installed WP 3.2.1 from my providers cpanel and than updated to 3.5

now. I did it manually and used a downloaded version.

now I see the theme options.

Sounds like you're having server issues or something. I can't really provide support for that stuff simply because it goes beyond my knowledge. Sorry!

sorry not working.

also after repair its not working :-(
I just destroyed the whole installation :-(

and yes I never installed the plugin in this version.

this is what I will do now:

- delete mySQL
- delete all files.

- download new WP 3.5 and install it.
- install your theme
- import demo.xml

anything else ?

I just did a test with the latest version of this theme available on ThemeForest and didn't have any issues, so this seems to be something specific to your setup/configuration. What that could be I honestly have no clue...

Try logging into your phpMyAdmin tool and clear the wp-options database table.

Just to confirm, you've NEVER installed the OptionTree plugin before, right?

No worries :-) It's just better for us to assume that similar issues for different themes don't necessarily have the same cause...

I'm not aware of any server security requirements, but to be honest, server-side stuff tends to go beyond my knowledge (I'm a front-end guy). I do know that PHP 5 is required for the theme options to work (this is mentioned on the item page on ThemeForest).

Can you confirm you have PHP 5+ running?

installed your theme.

no options available :-(

Hi there,

With the latest version of the theme, the OptionTree plugin is no longer required. If you install the plugin with the latest version of the theme, you'll need to delete the plugin and flush your "wp-options" database table via phpmyadmin tool.

If you don't know how to do that, contact your hosting provider for instructions on how to locate that content.

Let me know if you still need help after you follow the above instructions.

hello lovley forum,

I have some trouble to get the theme running.
I tryed old WP and old optiontree 1.8 version.

but my theme options menue is in all combinations empty.

also importing demo content is not going smooth.
sometimes it works sometimes it don't work.

I have installed WP now several times over and over again to get the theme running.

what should I do ?
