Thanks for the info - that sounds like it would have worked & might have been easier than what I did...which was a manual re-install of wordpress on my server! But it worked so I guess something must have been messed up.

Hi there,

The theme options are controlled/affected by the database, so uninstalling/reinstalling the theme wouldn't have any impact on the database settings.

Since this is a database-related issue, my best suggestion is to try using a plugin called "WordPress Database Reset". It allows you to clean up the wp options table, which I think is the cause of the problem you're having. You can grab it here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-database-reset/

***IMPORTANT***: any time you make adjustments or edits to your database, it's important to make a backup so that you can revert to your previous state in case you experience content loss or errors.

No I'd never seen that plugin until you mentioned it. I had some plugins installed from a previous theme but these are deactivated now:

- Any User Twitter Feed
- Artiss Twitter Data
- Audio Player
- Dropdown Menu Widget
- Next Gen Gallery
- Smart Youtube PRO
- Topspin Store Plugin 4.1

Hey, thanks for the reply. I've tried deactivating but doesn't seem to help - you're welcome to take a lot inside the Wordpress if you need.

The theme options page comes up with the "reset options" and "save changes" but nothing else showing. Thanks

Hi,

I've just purchased and installed the Nocturnal Wordpress theme & think it looks fantastic. I can't get very far with customizing it though as I just get a blank table when I click on Theme options. I didn't have any errors when installing the theme and I've retried it a couple of times.

Is it a compatibility problem with Wordpress? Let me know if you can help - thanks! Richard
