You bet! :-)

If you're enjoying the theme, please don't forget to rate it on your downloads page on ThemeForest. Positive ratings REALLY help me out and show potential buyers the value of my themes.

Thanks!

Hi there,

The timeline is really just a category listing of posts. To create more timeline menu items, add a category link to the menu on the menus page.

In the theme options, just make sure you have the categories you want to display as a timeline selected there.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

Chris,

Thank you for the response. I'm an old flash guys so I apologize for the simplistic questions.

I just noticed that when you set the static front page to "your latest posts" I get the timeline, so perfect.

The one other thing that I am having a bit of trouble figuring out is how to make other menu items, other than home, work like the timeline? I went to the example of the genisis customer, and noticed he had many timelines, and that is where I thought I would need to go into the template menu as on other sites and set it for the pages. (Does that make sense?).

If you could just tell me the steps to make my other menu items show timelines, rather than category listings I would really appreciate it.

Thanks again for answering me on this question.

Chris

Hi there,

The home page is for the Curator demo site using the default setting for the home page (i.e. it's not a page you have to create or anything).

To populate the home page, simply create posts and assign them to the categories you selected for the "Main Timeline Categories" setting in the theme options.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!

Chris

Chris, I am wondering (1) if there is a video or clear outline of starting from scratch in curator and creating pages that operate like your homepage in curator? (NOTE) It may be that I am having trouble figuring this out because there is no "template" section in my page attributes box, as noted in one of your other posts. (I only have a "Parent" section and "Order" Section).

Any help getting this started would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
