Hi there,

Just to clarify, "pagination" simply refers to the ability to navigate the different pages of a given section/page.

By default, the built-in pagination system of WordPress displays as "Next"/"Prev" links. There are plugins that extend this functionality, as well as some more advanced WordPress functions that add the numbered navigation layout.

For reference, here's an example of what the pagination in The Kitchen Table looks like: http://themes.themolitor.com/kitchen/?s=lorem

If you need some assistance integrating a different pagination system, please feel free to submit a request for custom services here: http://themolitor.com/custom

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris

I am not sure if I understand your response. Are you advising that on category pages there is pagination? I only have the "next" and "back" buttons or is that it? I was wanting page numbers. If you could clarify.

Thanks
Janet

Hi there,

Pagination is supported on category pages. You can easily link users to category pages via the menu items as showcased on the demo site.

Pagination is not supported on the home page because there are multiple WordPress loops used to display latest, featured and bookmarked posts. Pagination is not an option when displaying posts like this.

If you want to remove this feature and implement pagination on the home page, I'll have to ask that you submit a customization request here: http://themolitor.com/customization-request

Hope that makes sense.

Best,

Chris

Gone through some threads posted previously about Pagination and found no solution.

To be frank, it doesn't add value, if there is no pagination which we actually called "Rich User Experience".

There is no way to move the user to check older posts except using tags. Only webmasters know the use of Tags. General user won't.

It would be great if you provide solution for this.

PS: I don't need "Featured", "Bookmarks" tabs if this creates a problem. All I need Pagination.

PSS: Used couple of pagination plugins. Non worked.

Thanks!
