Clearing the browser cache might be the simple resolution here. Let us know if that works.

Thanks,

In my experience, browsers sometimes cache the web page history -- basically saving an old snapshot of the webpage to speed up browser loading. You may have just been looking at an old cached version of the page.
To get around this, I use the 'incognito' mode in Google Chrome as this doesn't save any web cache/cookies/web history.

I am wondering if maybe I didn't give it enough time to load? After an hour I pressed Preview again (I had left it up while I worked on other things) and that time it worked. Not sure why it didn't work the other eight times I had tried, but there you go.

Thank you for your reply. I tried copying in the YouTube embed code again, like I've been doing for years with other themes, but nothing shows up. Just the blog title. (I haven't added text or pictures to the blog post, just the embed code.)

Here is the embed code I'm pasting if it helps: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1H8hLmVLc94?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I would include a link to the blog post, but I'm not keen to publish an empty blog entry. My site is http://blissfule.me

The first option you mentioned in the HTML area should've worked. Here's a post with directions:

Hate to ask such a dumb question, but I feel like I've missed something. After searching, looking at the live demo, etc, I still don't know how to embed video. I have tried copying the embed code from YouTube into the HTML blog post area. I have also tried including the YouTube URL in 'upload media from url'. No luck either way. Please tell me very simply how to embed video.

Love this theme!
