Hi there,

The example you provided crops images as well. It also uses the same technique as PhotoPharm.

Best,

This is somewhat problematic since my client choose this theme because of the full screen display of images. I've done some research and found an example of how I need the images to resize without cropping.
demo: http://www.emanueleferonato.com/stuff/triquibg/
the code: http://www.emanueleferonato.com/2010/11/13/full-screen-centered-background-image-with-css-and-jquery/

I am unclear if the full screen display is functional because the images are treated as background images. Is there anyway to apply this code to your theme so that the images resize proportionally without adding bars to the image itself regardless of browser sizing?

Thanks again.

Hi there,

Since the images display full screen, cropping only occurs if the image doesn't fit exactly within the browser. If you change the browser dimensions, the amount of the image that gets displayed also changes. This is normal behavior for full screen galleries like this.

One method users have used is adding black bars to the top or bottom of the image in order to adjust the way it's displayed in full screen environments.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Chris

My gallery images keep cropping.

Is there an appropriate setting that will display images on a gallery page WITHOUT cropping any portion of the image?

I have adjusted the general media settings and that has helped some but I need images to fully display as is.

Please advise.
