You know, I had looked at that date sooooooooooooooooooo many times that I couldn't see one, single thing wrong with it. I was just going to send you a note saying there was, indeed, a date in the "End Date" field and yada, yada.

DUH. The date in that field says Nov. 2, 2011 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am SO sorry. I just have NOT moved into this year yet.

Hey Susan,

I believe you'll need to set the date to countdown to in your Theme Options panel. Have you not done that yet? That'll explain it not appearing...

Does the theme come with a counter from your site? Do I have to go find an actual counter? It is set to be counting toward Nov. 2nd, but it has never shown the counting down. I thought the counter was on your site. Is this incorrect?

All it has ever shown is "We Won!" and never the actual counting down, even though Nov is still at least a couple of days away.

That is, I have not changed anything in the counter option settings since I uploaded the options data. When you "packaged" the theme, wasn't it set to countdown toward Nov. 2nd?

Looks like you Won! Are you still having counter issues, or is it all good now? The countdown should work fine as long as it's setup properly.

From the very install of Politico, the countdown feature has not worked. That is, from the point when there were no plugins to interfere with the option data I just imported, there has been no countdown activity.
