I'm going to have to ask that you address the HTML errors I mentioned. I need to make sure those don't have any impact. Besides, you'll want to take care of that regardless as there are major issues in the source code.

I made that change and updated everything and the slider still didn't work.

Hi there,

Try using the default settings on the reading page (i.e. latest posts option) instead of a static front page option.

There seems to be a script conflict somewhere, but I don't see anything in the default theme setup that would cause a conflict like this. Let me know if the above suggestion changes the behavior at all.

The slider never worked out of the box before I adjusted any code. The only code I have adjusted was to add a text box in the footer and change the copyright text in the footer.

Any other help you could provide would be great.

Looking at your source code, I see you've made some edits that contain errors. Please double-check your edits as there are extra HTML, HEAD and BODY tags in your source code. If possible, please revert to a default setup of the theme in order to address issues that might be caused by edits.

I'm amazed at how quickly you respond. Thank you.

I created 4 posts and set 4 separate images as "featured images". I created a "slider" category and assigned all of the posts to that category. I have the "slider" category selected in the customize page.

I do have the Gravity Forms plugin activated so I can create fillable forms on my volunteer and contact pages. But the slider wasn't working before I installed that plugin either. No other plugins are activated.

Can you confirm you have the customize page configured? Specifically, make sure the slider has a proper category, etc.

Also, do you have additional plugins installed? If so, be sure to deactivate those to make sure they aren't causing any issues.

Hello Chris. I just purchased this theme and I really like it. Unfortunately, however, I am unable to figure out how to get the Nivo Slider to work. I've searched the other posts and haven't found anything to help.

I can get the dual slider to display images but it doesn't "slide". I'd like to use the Nivo Slider but I can't get it to even display any images.
