Nope, all you would need to do is take the .PSD that comes with the theme and adjust this image: http://themes.themolitor.com/wppolitico/wp-content/themes/wppolitico/images/slider_bg.png

If you tighten up the image in photoshop, save it out, and re-upload it to your image folder with the same file name, that'll do it. Make sure to backup this one first, just in case.

Yea, I realized it once I saw the demo -- it would be nice if could tighten the effect of the shadow to wrap around the image -- perhaps I need to edit the div, the gradient css info associated to it or apply a z-index value so that it's over the nivo slider? Or possibly create a new div all together applying those effects and have it overlay the slider div? Something to play with I suppose.

If you're referring to the edge as the shadow effect surrounding the slider, that is not in fact part of the slider itself (see the demo). It really looks like you've got this setup properly now.

Did you fix something, or is this how it's looked the whole time? I'm not seeing any problems.

You'll notice on the site that the Twitter bird image is not meeting up with the edges of the slider window. It's dimensions are 918x375 (as instructed in the help guide) as well as what is shown in the style sheet ( #nivoSlider ). I checked the #slider div tag css and it displays a width of 960px but changing this to 918px did not result in any change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
