Haven't had any luck tracking down a plugin yet, but I'm still searching. Thought I would throw the question up again with a little different title to see if any others may have a solution to the problem.

This function is used before you get to a Blog Detail page in the navigation bar. I would look into Plugins, I've read in the forum that there are several out there that'll add this to your posts. I am not familiar enough to make a suggestion, but I have seen the question in here before.

Does anyone know how to get a Next Post/ Previous Post button added to Blog Posts?

It's extremely awkward having to go back to the main menu each time after reading a post to get to another post.

Take a look at the Blog section of my site and you will see what I mean.
