Visualize has a main screen on the left with 3 boxes on the right. Top box is the main menu, middle box is the video links, bottom right is the synopsis. This does not present itself like that for me to edit or populate with my own content. Why would I have to create a menu?

I did NOT set up a menu. I thought that the whole idea of buying a template was that you just changed the content/graphics within the menu structure you had set up in the template. Is that not the case?

I watched the vid now for the second time. When I imported the theme, I get no menu items. There are none there to edit.

How can I show you screen snaps?

Hi there,

Please keep in mind, VYSUALIZE does not have a side menu. That is the VYSUAL theme (I know the naming can be confusing).

The menu system is a WordPress feature (not a theme feature), so if the theme is not displaying a menu, it is likely because it is not properly setup on the Menus page. Can you confirm you created and assigned a menu for the "main menu" placement?

Here's a video I did for reference:

I used the c-panel to mirror the unzipped file that I downloaded from you.

I originally used the Wordpress program to upload and unzip automatically.... after examination I saw that some files were missing.

It works up to a point.

When I go to the menu section it is asking me to create a menu from scratch. There are no existing categories or menu structure. Is that a Wordpress problem? Did I somehow delete the menu from the download?

Hi there,

I've no clue what those errors are honestly. Definitely not theme-related. My best suggestion is to contact your hosting provider as those are not anything that I can troubleshoot...

Regarding the theme, how is it that you're uploading/installing the theme? I can't seem to figure out how you had files missing, so I'm not exactly sure what your setup is like...

Regarding the theme setup, be sure to do the following...

1. Create a menu. More info here: http://themolitor.com/help/vysualize/#menusetup

2. Setup the home page like the demo. More info here: http://themolitor.com/help/vysualize/#homepage

3. Review ALL options on the Customize page (appearance > customize) and be sure to implement any features that apply to your needs.

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Christopher

Can you provide a link to your site? I'll check it out.

Sounds like you might just need to upload some images from the "header images" section of the Customize page (appearance > customize).

Please keep in mind that my support services do not include hosting or server-based troubleshooting.

Please bear with me, I am a complete newbie to any kind of coding.

I am hosting on GoDaddy. I have recently moved hosting to an upgraded php server that can take advantage of Wordpress. With that in mind I bought the Vysualize template.

I installed WP into a folder and created a temp domain. In order to do that you have to spec a started theme to be changed later.

I successfully uploaded the Visualize Zip file along with the Zoom Box zip.

After the Vysualize theme was installed, it appeared as a choice so I chose.

When I go to edit the theme the layout looks nothing like the theme I bought. It had elements (foo pictures) of the initial default theme and the same menu structure.

I also get this error message, just under the header:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function ordered_header_images() in /home/bukworx1/public_html/BlahBlahBlah/wp-content/themes/vysualize/footer.php on line 18"

I conferenced with Godaddy tech support and they suggested that I may need to change some of the php variables available with a “php.ini”.

I am hoping for a simple solution related to the initial install.

Please help. Thanks in advance.
