Hi there,

1. clicking/dragging header images is not a supported feature of Wordpress.

2. Unless you have the "randomize uploaded headers" turned on, the order of your background images will be based on when they were uploaded. You can change the order by uploaded the images in the order you want them to appear (first first, last last).

3. The selected image only displays as your background if the slideshow feature/checkbox is off.

4. I can confirm newly uploaded images work in the slideshow. You must click "add new image" and select the image you would like to add to the slideshow. Remember, the last uploaded image will display last (unless you have randomize turned on).

From the dashboard, I go to Appearance / Customize

Then click Header Image

I am able to delete images by going to my media library, clicking an image and clicking delete permanently.

In the past, I was able to adjust the order of the photos (in my manual slide show) by going to Appearance / Customize / Header Image by simply clicking the image, dragging and dropping, now nothing happens. I can not change the order. I think I saw something in the blog about shifting order in the Add New Image / Media Library but when I click and drag images in the media library, nothing happens.

In the past, if I had an image in the “Current Header” image box on the left, it would appear on my website as the first image in the slideshow. Now, newly imported images in Current Header do not appear on the website at all. Now after uploading, it sits on the left-hand side as “Previously Uploaded”. I would like the newly imported images to appear in the slide show. Please advise how to properly import new images and make them appear in the slide show on the header.

Slideshow On or Off has no effect, changing the pause time has no effect.
