I had this problem too - I was using various plugins that I 'thought' I needed that were messing with the categories. I turned them off, and the problem persisted. When I saw this post, I went and switched on permalinks - problem solved. Hope this helps others.

Do you have additional plugins installed/activated? If so, try deactivating plugins to see if that addresses the issue.

Hi Chris,

I'm having trouble with setting up my posts/pages. I have two category pages with different posts on them and they seem to be showing up on both pages and also duplicating. I've tried to change the permalinks but then the side pages duplicate and don't show all of my content. My site link is http://www.bergstromdesign.com.au

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!
