Image descriptions are displayed for each image when it's in "gallery" mode (i.e. fullscreen, no content area visible) next to the left/right buttons. You can add those details there.

I have an artist client, and am using this great theme to showcase his work. His artwork has dimensions and price that need to be displayed, so clients can know how big the pieces are, and how much. Any suggestions or fixes to this on the horizon?
