Did you manually create the home button, or are you using the one automatically created by the menu system?

I added that to the menu, the only issue now is that it isn't working on the home button. This is weird because it works fine on my other site

Open up "style.css" and add the following to the navigation section...

li.current-menu-item > a {background: #6a3b14 url('images/buttonback.jpg') repeat-x center; border:1px solid #6a3b14; padding:6px 9px;}

The navigation on my site isn't displaying the current state. meaning there is no background behind the nav
