If you just display adsense no problem.

I had outbound links to bookingdotcom in each single post and a few hotel booking pages plus someone scraped my content. Deleted the bookingdotcom links, hotel related pages, filled a DMCA form and all back to (almost) normal.

Cheers

George, I just made a comment about Adsense and your website.

Now I see you had issue with affiliate linking to another site.

I certainly hope this isn't the cause of the Google serp drop.
It's pretty important to be able to monetize the sites.

You're welcome.

The H1 tag depends on the theme. You might have to make some modifications to the theme to correct this.

Good to hear about it's results for SEO, because i'm about to use The Navigator too :)

Thanks wilml! I believe my website was dropped in the search results because these links to booking.com. I just removed them a few days ago.

Concerning H1 tag I thought that all WordPress themes use the title and H1.

I reiterate that The Navigator is pretty good for SEO, previously my website was ranking very well. If you search on Google for Warren G. Magnuson Park http://www.lakewaparks.com a site build using The Navigator and owned by Chris Molitor? appears on the 4th page of the results, which is very good considering that there are 89,400 results for "Warren G. Magnuson Park".

Thanks again for your advices.

George

Hey,

Your website is actually indexed. Type this in your google search bar 'site:www.adventureinthailand.com'. As you can see about 113 pages are indexed. The only thing I can found after a quick look is that you don't have a h1 heading on your pages.

Remember that it could take time for Google to re index your website after your changes. It often happens that a website starts off with pretty good rankings, but after a while they drop again. It is likely that your rankings will go up slowly in the upcoming weeks.

You could also try to improve the speed of your website, using https://developers.google.com/pagespeed/. However this is often pretty complicated when using a theme.

I hope this is a little bit helpful,
Just let me know if you have any other questions.

Good luck!

Hello,

After 3 months using The navigator I noticed that none of the posts on my website are showing up on Google search results.

I am NOT blaming The Navigator, before the site had a great ranking in search results using this theme. I am just wondering if someone can take a look at my website http://www.adventureinthailand.com and tell me if I did something wrong.

Note that time ago I added links to booking.com at the end of every single post. lately I added a nofollow tag to these links, and since then I am unable to find my website on Google. A few days ago I removed the links, but the situation hasn't improved.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

George
