Hi there,

This is so strange. Have you made any edits to the template files? If so, have you tried using a default setup of the theme to see if anything changes?

Do you have additional plugins installed? If so, try deactivating those.

Hi Chris, I created an entirely new post, deleted the old one, and I still have the same problem. It's showing up last on the list - the only one out of order.

Odd. Everything except the Feb post is in the right order. Maybe try recreating that post? I'm thinking there might be an issue with that post specifically. Never seen this before, so let me know if that has any impact.

OK, I'm getting closer. I didn't have a parent category set up before but now I do with sub-categories under the parent. My only remaining issue is that the order starts with the end of 2014 at the top of the page and early 2014 is at the bottom of the page. How do I reverse that order?

To clarify, I'm not talking about checking the proper categories on the post edit screen. I'm talking about making sure the categories have the main Events category assigned as the parent category on the category edit screen.

Well, the post does have Events checked. And the 5 other posts are all in order. Just not this one. Any other suggestions?

Hi there,

The calendar requires an events category to show posts. You can have additional filters/categories, but they need to have the main event category assigned as the parent category.

As long as you have done this, category pages with the event category as the parent will display posts in ascending order (past > future).

Please double-check your categories to make sure they have the main event category properly assigned as the parent.

Argh. I just discovered a new issue. While the slider is fixed, the events page is still not in the proper order time-wise. Is there a code for that?

Normally, the slider sorts by date but for some reason a new event that I just added is still showing up last, even though it is the newest of the group. What am I not going?
