I still think we're misunderstanding each other. Sorry about this. I just want to be able to link to the sticky video in the navigation and have it play full screen like all the other videos. It's the same video the home page play button links to (not the actual background video playing).

I'm happy to give you access to the site privately if you'd like to see what I mean.

Hi there,

The background video is using a separate system that would not be recommended for interaction with the play button. The background video system does not support audio and does not display on mobile devices.

Best,

Let me ask another way just to make sure we're talking about the same thing. Is there a way I can link the the "sticky" post video that allows the self hosted video to play full browser screen just like it already does when you click the play button on the background.

I would like to link to the "sticky" video in the navigation in addition to what is already does in the play button on home page background.

Hi there,

Sorry, but that goes a bit beyond the level of support I'm able to provide here in the forums. If it was something I knew off the top of my head I would gladly help, but if it requires a bit of research, testing and custom code then I have ask that you submit a request for customization services here: http://themolitor.com/custom

Hope you understand.

Thanks!

Christopher

Hi there,

1a. Unfortunately having two rows of categories on a single page would require extensive custom development as it is not a built-in feature of the theme.

1b. Yes, this not something I would recommend for this type of layout. VYSUAL is really meant to be a "full screen" experience where everything sits in view. Having two rows would require the content to be very small in order to maintain this experience.

2. Unfortunately a grid layout would require extensive custom development to achieve as it is not a built-in option. As I mentioned in #1b above, the full screen experience would not work well with a grid layout.

Hope you understand.

Best,

Christopher

Follow up questions (sorry for the multi posts):

1) Will having two sliding rows of videos kill the mobile view?

2) Any way to have video thumbnails display in a grid and still keep the theme styling and youtube embeds that play full screen just like the category (archive) view? I've tried some plugins but none of them open to that full screen view and I loose the play button overlay.

Hello,

It is possible to have a page that displays two categories of videos?

For instance:

Category A:

( line of thumbnails with arrows)

Category B:

( line of thumbnails with arrows)

Great theme by the way!
