Hi there,

Other than (1) wrapping any instances of English words with proper PHP translation notation and (2) providing a .pot file, there are no additional translation features built into the theme.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Christopher

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply. I have all the content, menus, etc. translated, I do not need auto translation. I wanted to use polylang to switch between the different language versions that i have created, without breaking the theme. I am wondering if the producer already supports a way to present alternative language versions of its pages.

I hope that makes my question clearer.

Many thanks,
Anna

Hi there,

I haven't tested/used any translation plugins before, so unfortunately I don't have any good recommendations. While The Producer is translation ready (i.e. it's properly coded to be translated), when it comes to actually translating the theme, that is really a customization of the theme and not something that I can provide services for.

Hope you understand.

Best,

Christopher

I am trying to set up a multilingual website using the producer theme - at the moment i am having real problems getting the theme to deliver my content in multiple languages while retaining all its functionality. So, i have just now reset the site to zero and removed all the plugins etc that i was planning to use and will continue working in English only. The plugin that i was mainly trying to use with the producer was polylang - is this plugin compatible with your theme - or is there another multilingual plugin or way of dealing with this issue that will enable me to support multiple languages in our site?

Many thanks.
