Alrighty,

The fact that the plugin site as well as the Nocturnal demo site work fine in Chrome leads me to think the issue is specific to how you have your site setup/configured.

It appears the audio still loads and even clicking the "x" pauses and plays the audio. This leads me to think the issue has something to do with how your site is handling memory (which is a server/hosting related issue).

Before you contact your hosting provider, I recommend trying a caching plugin to see if that address the memory issue.

Let me know if that helps at all!

Chris

Hi there,

I loaded http://www.biffrockmore.com/music and see what you mean. Let me look into this as it might be an issue with the audio plugin...

Thanks!

Hi Lixy,

I'm not seeing any audio tracks pop out when I load your home page and navigate through the posts.

Can you provide a link to a page with audio that isn't working with the player?

Thanks!

Chris

No problem Justin. Thanks heaps - that'd be awesome! Hopefully you guys can replicate the issue, it's obviously happening to a few of us since the latest browser updates in Chrome and FF.

I know it's hard to fix if you can't replicate it! :) Hope it's not too tricky...

Hey Lixy - apologies for the slow response, I was out on Vacation last week. Let me get this over to Chris to look into. I'm not having any issues with your site, but perhaps he can replicate the issue on his machine.

- Justin

Annnnd.... it looks like the same issue with the 'x' is happening now in Firefox 11.0 for OS X now too. :(

Safari, however, displays everything perfectly. The player works flawlessly, as do the forward and back arrows on the home page sliders in both Safari 5.1.2 and 5.1.4 (current version).

I have the latest version of Chrome for OS X installed (17.0.963.79) and the latest version of QuickTime (as per the other thread on this subject).

Last week the player was working just fine, it's only been a few days (since the last Chrome update) that the error has been occurring.

Any help or fixes for this issue would be much appreciated :)
