Thanks for this. Ok- i've tried clearing the cache. And using the !important trick, but still no success... Assuming i'm an absolute dummy at this (not hard) - I would go into custom css - type in the text box, not visual

.boxStuff {top:40%}!important

Or would I go into the visual one and just type .boxStuff {top:40%}!important

It's not the first time that this sort of thing hasn't worked for me...

Likewise i'm trying to change the 'menu' tag to 'home' by following this http://www.themolitor.com/forums/topic/replace-list-box-with-artists#post-20733 but it doesn't seem to work...

Hi there,

1. Do you have a caching system active on your site? If so, try clearing that or turning it off.

2. Maybe you're edits are being overridden. Try using !important at the end of the adjustment.

I'm trying to move it up, but can't seem to get it to do so... In fact many times I try to make changes, they don't go through. I empty the cache, and it still doesn't work...

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Does it take a couple of minutes to come into effect or something?

Hi there,

You can adjust the top setting for the ".boxStuff" element in the custom CSS. Currently top is set to 50%. Just reduce that to move the content up the page like this...

.boxStuff {top:40%}
