I have messed about a little bit in functions.php, and have found where I can increase the length:

//EXCERPT STUFF
function new_excerpt_length($length) {
return 200; // was 30
}

But, of cause all the formatting is stripped. I would as a minimum like s to be carried over.

My main use of the timeline is to show a few images and make it easy to launch the project. Actually, in addition to having links in the post excerpt it would be great to have links on the first page - so that the caption under the picture had an opportunity to add a link to launch the project.

Hi,

I cannot find in the manual how I increase the number of lines I get from the post when I click on the link below each image. Right now I get two lines and then "Read more -->"

I would like the theme to try and show all content from the post, and only add "Read more -->" if the post is long. Is there a switch for that?
