Hi there,

Maybe it has to do with your sub domain setup?

Again, I'm not sure what the issue is. Permalink/404 errors are not something caused or controlled by the theme. The theme just displayed content/links generated by WordPress.

Best,

Chris

Ciao. Sorry for the slow reply...I've been traveling.
"Calendar.world-eats.org" is a clean link, no redirect. Anyplace there is a redirect is in a menu.
I haven't altered anything and thought I was using the Permalinks created by Wordpress.
Have no idea where the redirect is coming in.
In a perfect world...what would the permalink look like for the month of Sept? (For example). Maybe that would help me track down the source of the problem.
Many thanks, as always.
Judith

Hi there,

It's hard to say as I'm not sure how you have your site structure setup. You appear to be using either multiple domains or multiple site redirects.

If you were just using the permalinks/pages created by your WordPress install (the one using Eventure), I would venture to guess it would solve the issue you're having.

Best,

Chris

Thanks Chris, but this is a bit over my head.
If I revise the site & use the theme homepage, will that fix the problem?
Ideally, what should my permalink settings look like? I've no problem contacting my host, but
I don't understand what I'm asking them to do or fix.
Sorry for the 'dumbness'...I just haven't encountered anything like this before.
Warmest regards,
Judith

Hi there,

It looks like it has something to do with how you have your site/permalink structure setup. I see the home page isn't using the theme's homepage, so I'm not sure how you have things setup.

Unfortunately permalink issues like this are related to your hosting/WordPress settings, and don't have anything to do with the theme (permalinks are generated by WordPress).

Sorry I can't be more help with this. My best suggestion is to contact your hosting provider or check your permalink settings.

Best,

Chris

Ciao Chris.
Here's the link to the site: http://calendar.world-eats.org/
And here's a link if you click on the August block...not a specific event, just the month: http://calendar.world-eats.org/2014/08

Thanks!

Ciao.
If a user clicks on the month (for example the August 2014) box, it directs to a page that says "The page you were looking for is no longer available." Do I need to create separate pages for each month?
Thanks!
Judith
