Changing permalinks from "default" to "month and name" fixed this issue for me, thanks, Chris!

On the permalinks page (under "settings" menu), try using "Month and Name" and see if that helps at all. If not, please provide a link to your site and I'll take a look.

on the home page where it shows the calander of posts when In click on one of the black boxes that says the month in it it goes to 404 page not found?? it was working earlier I don't know why it stopped
if I click name of the month in sidebar of post it works fine
