I have had some success with this.

Here are my notes...

Installing responsive swipablelightbox to MISC Theme

Actions

- Load WP jQuery Lightbox plugin.

- Comment outline 40 - wp_enqueue_script('prettyphoto',get_template_directory_uri() . '/scripts/prettyphoto.js');

- Relocate wp-head from line 44 to just above </head>

- In scripts/custom.js comment out lines 594 and 654. //prettyPhotoFunc();

Images dynamically resize to suite screen size and orientation and are swipable.

Disadvantage - Does not appear to support videos in galleries.

The default gallery config displays very small images on a mobile handset and is not to the same level of responsiveness as the rest of the MISC theme.

A better option would be a gallery/lightbox display that includes:
- Better scaling to maximize use of screen space
- Swipe gestures supporting touchscreens
- Interactive adjustment to browser window and handset orientation

I will go trawling for a suitable plugin but I forsee conflicts. In order to get moving fast
any suggestions?
