Hi there,

The theme is using Font Awesome, which is already installed and active in the theme (might be a server configuration issue you're having), but you can grab it here: https://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/

Best,

Please tell me which "font" ICON you are using,
so I may personally go get it and install it on my website.

It will most likely be easy enough to use copy & paste for some odd reason the font did not install with the theme... That is all.

That way in the future, I will be able to use the social media icons as well.

I have a dedicated server with the latest: cpanel, Apache', PHP, & wordpress install.

Hi there,

The image that displays over the background when you click a link is coming from the YouTube servers (it's a YouTube placeholder image when videos don't have thumbnails).

Please keep in mind the video page is not intended to have a video background playing (see demo site), so this is why that strange image is showing up when you click a link.

Regarding the play button, that's a font icon (like the social icons). I understand if you don't need the social icons, but the fact that they aren't showing is a symptom of a problem that I recommend get resolved. I haven't seen this happen before, so I'm thinking it has something to do with your particular setup.

Regarding the demo import process, that is 100% managed by WordPress. On my end, I clicked a WordPress "export" button that pops out a file that users are suppose to use to click "import" on their end. This process is 100% WordPress controlled and really has nothing to do with the theme, so I'm not sure what the issue is you're having with that.

The import issues and icon issues you're having indicate to me something is wrong with your setup. It might stem from how your WordPress installation was setup. It might come from a server setting put in place by your hosting provider. I really can't say as I haven't seen these issues before (especially with this theme).

Sorry I can't be more help with this. I hope you understand that this may not be related to the theme, which limits my ability to troubleshoot the problem.

Best,

Christopher

There is no background image from YouTube as these videos are coming Vimeo.
If I add a featured image it overrides the background video.

On a pure WHIM of Psychosis, I chose to upload a 1x1 blank PNG image as a background.. that solved your dead video issue as well as not blocking the background video from playing.

The social media icons, I have decided that they are not needed as they do not work anyhow.

The play button is still missing, I found the call for it in CSS using firebug. I replaced a hollow box with the words "Play" However, I would like to know where you got the play button from I can simply paste it in your Customize CSS box area so it will show properly.

As for importing the theme, I used FTP.
As for importing your demo content, I tried the supplied XML file as well as your button that says import demo content, both have same failures. I think you are simply missing the content from where ever you programed it to gather the data.

Please just tell me where you got your play button from and I will work the code on this theme so it will show it.

Thanks

Hi there,

The background image is being pulled from YouTube, but it doesn't appear to be present on their servers. To fix this, you'll need to add your own featured images for the video posts.

Regarding the icons, I still think this has to do with the method you installed the theme. What import function are you referring to? Do you mean the demo content import?

Best,

Hi there,

I understand. You have two separate issues: (1) the icons and (2) the background images.

The link you provided is showing "server not found". Please double-check.

Regarding the icons, I think it might have to do with the filezilla approach you did, but I'm not sure. That's why I'm asking questions about it.

Regarding the background images, you'll want to upload a featured image for those items.

Best,

Christopher

Please look at my website: Info.SwimsutCenterfold.com

You will see the play button and the social media icons are missing. They are not part of the featured image, If I load a featured image the video background gets replaced and the tiny video option is shown.

Hi there,

Sorry you're having trouble. What import function are you referring to? Do you mean the demo content import? If so, I'm not familiar with using FileZilla for that process.

Looks like the videos you're using do not have a proper thumbnail image from YouTube. Try uploading an image for each of your video posts and assigning it as the featured image for your videos. More info here: http://themolitor.com/help/vysual/#featuredImage

Let me know if that helps at all.

I fumbled with the import function as directions seemed useless texted described different method from that of your images. So I used FileZilla. Not sure if that was the issue:

1: Video Play button Icon is missing
2: Social Media Icons are Missing
3: Scrolling between video's popup a dead video screen then loads
4: your video walk through makes too many assumptions from a scratch install.
