Hi there,

My best recommendation would be to size the images to the dimensions of the slider to guarantee the proper orientation you want.

Thanks!

Chris

Thanks, Chris. I've got the slider working. I noticed that the images automatically size in the horizontal to a common width, but is there a simple way to guarantee the vertical sizing to a common depth? Or, do I need to tweak the images to a common size before uploading? Thanks. John.

Hi there,

The slider feature is populated using posts in the slider category you specify on the "customize" settings page.

1. Create a category specifically for the slider (call it "featured" or "slider", etc.)
2. Create/assign posts for that new category (with a featured image assigned).
3. Assign the new category as the slider category on the "customize" page (under appearance).

Let me know if that helps.

Best,

Chris

The Eventure demo shows a "carousel" of 4-5 large pictures (with some embedded words) across the top of the home page (just below the menu) and above the Welcome message. Is that a separate widget or is my download missing something? Thanks.
