Since search is built into the theme already, I'm curious why you're trying to use the search widget as well?

In any case, try replacing the "search.png" text with "mag_glass.png".

Hi,

You're right for the footer.

But the "searchform.php" file is used by the search widget and is part of the theme. The "search.png" file is used for the submit button :
<input type="image" src="<?php echo get_template_directory_uri(); ?>/images/search.png" id="searchsubmit" alt="GO!" />

In the "style.css" file we can see this:
#searchBtn {height: 28px; width: 28px; background: url(images/search.png) no-repeat center top; cursor: pointer; display: none;}

So, there is a bug when you activate the search widget.

The search feature actually uses the "mag_glass.png" file and is controlled from the "footer.php" template file.

The file /images/search.png used by searchfrom.php and style.css is not present.
