ok now it works again - if you run into similar problems, I recommend checking if the menu items are mapped correctly. For some reason, the picture showed up again after this issue was fixed.

Hi, after a slight text change, my background image also has disappeared. I tried adjusting the opacity in custom.js, but it dows not work.

I've changed the opacity thus:

and it is still faded...

The image is showing, it's just really faint. To adjust the opacity, open custom.js and change the following on lines 21-22 from this...

//FULLSCREEN IMAGE
jQuery("#fullScreenImg").css({opacity:".08"});

...to this...

//FULLSCREEN IMAGE
jQuery("#fullScreenImg").css({opacity:".5"});

I have the latest version of the theme installed, I'm running no plugins at all apart from All in one SEO, but the background image isn't appearing in either Safari or Firefox on a Mac on any of the pages.

I'm currently testing the site at http://www.thesconebar.co.uk/index2.php

Am I missing something obvious here?

Already disabled all external plugins and place default credits on my stylesheet but my background hasn't displayed yet.

It looks like you've removed all the required notices at the top of the style.css file. You'll need to add that content back for your theme to function properly.

Also, try deactivating additional plugins you have installed. I see there is a script conflict, which might be caused by a plugin you're using.
