It appears that link is being injected into the page. I can only offer CSS related superficial attempts at "hiding" the link, but you'll want to explore getting rid of it all together as you don't want that stuff in your markup.

Well, thanks for the help. Tried both solutions but they still don't seem to get rid of the code in IE or on mobile. We are using a different host than my typical and I'm not sure they are as secure with their Wordpress installations, possibly could have been a hack. If we have a backup but only after the hack was done, is there anything we can do?

To remove the actual code, open header.php and remove the following on lines 115-120...

Hi there,

It sounds like your site might have been hacked. That shouldn't happen. I recommend reverting to a site backup if you have one. Removing the contact section doesn't negate the fact that you might have a hacked site (not theme related or part of standard support), which should be your main priority in resolving.

If you want to remove that section from view, just add the following to your Custom CSS box on the Customize page:

#contactInfo {display: none !important;}

NOTE: this just removes the text from view, but the link/text will still show up in your source code.

When we remove the content from the "Contact Info" it does what it does now... When we add any content, it still has the new content and the / "cash advance loans" ... Have no idea how it was injected in there either. How can I just remove the code for the specific section? From what file do I need to remove the "contactInfo" id ?

Let me just confirm/clarify that there's absolutely nothing in the theme that would generate that text automatically.

I see the text appears below the logo. That space is controlled from the "Contact Info" text box on the Customize page (see site title and tagline section).

If you open the website in Internet Explorer and on Mobile iOS, it shows a "Quick Cash Advance Loans" on the homepage. I cannot find where to change this text or where this is being pulled up. I have tried disabling all third party plugins and still nothing.

Please help, this is a deal breaker before we launch!
