I want a custom BG image for the site, however, whenever I do that through the default wordpress customization interface, it pushes the image up, cutting some of the design and making it not align quite the way I want with the rest of the elements.

I tried getting the element by ID to force it to align the way I want to, but the image itself cannot the targeted since it is styled in the element itself. It is dynamically generated by jQuery, I guess, and that goes a bit beyond my knowledge. I also tried making the image the same size as the default background, but to no avail.

Please advise on a workaround to this issue.
