I had this problem too: "it only shows up when u go to customize but after i save it and view my website it goes away"

This worked for me: "Try adjusting each setting on the Customize page and publish your changes."

Hi,

I had the same problem, and just in case that helps someone else, it looks like adding custom css on the customize panel make the mini slider don't show once you exit the panel.

fyi, I just added a color change like below:

h1, h2, h3{
color:#ffffff
}

I removed these line and that fixed it.

sorry, I didnt have the site updated, I tried everything you said and its still not showing up, the directions you gave is what i was doing for the main slider to show up....i know im doing something wrong i just cant figure out what

Hi there,

I'm not seeing the main slider on your site either. Looks like maybe you need to review each setting on the Customize page to make sure everything is properly configured.

Also, be sure to deactivate any plugins you have installed. I see some markup in your source code that might interfere with the theme.

Hi there,

The mini slider is achieved by the following...

1. Having a specific category (i.e. "mini slider", "featured", etc) assigned on the Customize page for the mini slider category setting.
2. Add posts to that category with a featured image assigned.

Im having trouble getting the mini slider to show up on my website, I understand the big slider but I just dont understand the small one, Ive gone through the forum and read everything related to the issue but still nothing, it seems to work fine when its in the customize page but as soon as I go to my site its gone, you can have a look at minoritymusik.com
