OK. I got it to come up.

I have the same issue and I figured out a workaround. It appears that, for some reason, the menu attributes for the bottom aren't being applied when you first create the menu.

Go to Appearance > Menus and create a menu named "Top" for your top menu, then add the pages you want to it.

Next create a menu named "Blank" and don't put anything on it.

In Theme Locations, Make Main Navigation Menu "Top" and Footer Navigation Menu "Blank"

After to have saved/applied all the changes, you can go back in and change Footer Navigation Menu to "Top" if you want to use the same links as your top menu or you can create a new menu with the pages you want on it. The layout should be displaying properly now.

How can I adjust the menu buttons at the very bottom of the page underneath my logo. They're very large and quite distracting. I would like the menu items to look like they do on the demo site. Thanks for any help you can provide. My website is GatorsForRomney.com.
