Can you specify all scripts responsable for side bar for us to delete them.

I'm having trouble viewing my menu headers on a mobile device. When I view the page on a laptop, the items are easily seen (white text, pink background), however the links are working on the mobile device but the text isn't showing (pink text?, pink background.

Hi, after I've installed the theme (Producer), and go to customize the menu, there are no options there already in the pages, custom links and categories section. I was hoping to use the same menu sections as the template, but it seems I have to make the menu from scratch. Is there a way to import the ones from the pre-existing theme? Thanks

WordPress primarily has 2 types of content: pages and posts.

Posts were traditionally used for blog/news items, but have evolved to be used for much more complicated things (i.e. portfolio items, testimonials, etc.). Because there are so many types of uses for posts, WordPress has a couple of ways to manage items: tags and categories. Categories are mostly used for high-level management and tags tend to be used for keyword related filtering of content.

Unlike posts, pages haven't really changed much. They are still primarily used for static, non time sensitive content (i.e. about us, contact us, company services, etc.).

If you want to create a contact form, you'll want to create a page (i.e. "Contact Us") and use a contact form plugin. Contact Form 7 is really popular and easy to use once you understand the basic components. Here's the link: http://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/

I think the issue was the front page was initially assigned to a static page plus the wrong header assignment. All fixed now. Thanks for the quick response. The theme is great!

Your menu appears to be working fine (scroll to towards the bottom of the page).

The issue is that you're loading lots of content in the header area. Please be sure to review the selection you've made for the Header "page to display" option on the Customize page.

The main menu is not working on the MISC theme I just downloaded. I installed the theme, imported demo content, and made sure the menu was selected in the Appearances > Menus > Manage Location screen. I've watched the video above and have not found a solution.

Any suggestions?
