Thanks for the tip. This is a lot easier. However the path is OptionTree > Theme Options > Footer, then you erase whatever is in the box where you specify the social site's link.

it's easier to use the plugin's interface. in the place where you specified the links to your social sites (appearance > theme options) you could have just deleted the text in the fields for those social sites you don't want to show. that way when things get updated u don't lose your customization.

Hello Justin, I managed to solve problem number 2. I went to the footer.php file and just excluded the lines for the icons I did not want to appear. Here is what I did:

/* ---- $mySpace = get_option_tree('myspace',$theme_options);
$flickr = get_option_tree('flikr',$theme_options); ---- */

I would still appreciate any help on editing the + sign to a text "menu"

1. Yes I would appreciate if you can point me to the right direction on how to change the + sign.
2. I did not remove anything in the CSS file I just added "*/ " to those lines. I looked in the images folder but all the icons seem to be in one png file.

Hey Majama,

1) This is a customization - you would need to edit the + image. Do you feel comfortable making changes to the code / Images? I can point you in the right direction...

2) You shouldn't have messed with the CSS file. Please re-upload the original. You can edit the Social Icons from the "Option Tree" panel. You can do so in the "Footer" section. If that doesn't work, you can also go into the Images folder and remove the icons you don't want to use.

Hello there,
I have 2 questions that I need help with.
1. Is is possible to replace the + sign on top of the page showing the menu. I was thinking of being able to write the word "menu" on it to make more obvious for visitors.
2. I try to remove 2 of the social icons (myspace and flicker) from the css file but they got replaced by the "rss" icons on the site. How can I do that properly?
